Kotopig ("we", "us") is built on a simple promise: your images never leave your device. This policy explains exactly what does and does not happen when you use our tools.

Image processing is 100% local

Every tool on Kotopig — compression, conversion, resizing, cropping and watermarking — runs entirely inside your web browser using your device's own processor. We do not have servers that receive, view, store, or process your images. When you select a file, it is read into your browser's memory and discarded as soon as you leave or refresh the page.

Information we do not collect

• We do not collect, upload, or store the images or files you process.
• We do not require an account, email address, or any sign-up.
• We do not sell or share personal data, because we do not collect it.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic — for example, how many people visit a page. These tools do not track you across sites and do not access your files.

Advertising

To keep Kotopig free, we may display ads from third-party networks such as Google AdSense. These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant ads and measure performance. You can learn more and manage your preferences via Google's Ads settings. Ads never receive access to the images you process locally.

Cookies

Kotopig's tools function without login cookies. Any cookies present are limited to those set by analytics or advertising partners described above.

Children's privacy

Kotopig is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
