Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Every operation runs entirely inside your browser using your device's own processor. Your files never leave your computer, so the tool works even with the page disconnected from the internet after loading.
Can I rotate by an exact angle, not just 90°?
Yes. The rotate buttons turn the image in 90° steps, and the straighten slider lets you fine-tune by any angle from −45° to +45° — useful for levelling a crooked horizon.
Will rotating crop or cut off part of my image?
No. The output canvas is enlarged to fit the rotated image, so the whole picture is kept. With non-90° angles the corners are filled with a background color (white for JPG).
What's the difference between rotate and flip?
Rotating turns the image around its center, while flipping mirrors it — horizontally (left↔right) or vertically (top↔bottom). You can combine both.
Does it keep my image quality?
Yes. Rotation and flipping are applied at full resolution. PNG output stays lossless; JPG/WebP are re-encoded at high quality.
